The question
How do primary glioblastoma cells respond across a range of drug doses, in both survival and shape?
What I did
- Designed and ran quantitative dose-response testing with an MTT assay in primary G7 glioblastoma cells.
- Used fluorescence live-cell imaging and cytoskeletal staining to follow changes in cell shape.
- Wrote and optimised, with AI assistance, a Python script that counts and sizes cells from the microscope images, replacing manual counting in ImageJ.
- Maintained primary cell cultures under strict aseptic technique, with full documentation of methods and results.
